Second one I've bought..specs still beat out most phones on the market excluding major flagship Android devices in 2019..especially with the 8.0 Oreo update.

If you're buying the unlocked dual SIM/international version of this device then it's important to look up frequency compatibility with these devices beforehand. AT&T works with more bands that are compatible with this phone versus T-Mobile..

 I'd recommend looking at AT&T or one of its subsidiaries (I.E. Cricket) for exceptional service. T-Mobile/Metro works well but not all it's frequencies work with this phone although you WILL get LTE.

As far as the phone, screen is wonderful and the phone offers ample storage out the gate. Call reception, camera quality and the fingerprint reader work flawlessly.. battery is decent if you're aren't on your phone a lot. Key thing to remember in regards to this international version of the phone versus one for the US market is that these are different builds and the screen burn issue that plagued the T-Mobile/AT&T versions isn't much of an issue with these phones.

The main thing that bothers me about this product is the inability to root it. The default camera program is still lacking a decent time lapse mode which is solved with OpenCamera. I don't know if this is a hardware or software problem but images are captured at less than 100 dpi. This is not good.

 I strongly suggest a decent case and a good screen protector. The last note ... because of the age of the device's design, some 4G networks are not compatible

 got this for my daughter, so these are her words, not mine. She loves the relation between the phone size and the screen size, which coves a big part of it. She moved from the LG G5 to G6, and it as a good leap ahead. From a performance perspective, it works smoothly and efficiently

I just collected this device today however, upon first glance I could tell it was pre-owned. It didn’t even prompt me to setup the phone to my preferred language or to set up my Google profile etc instead it was signed in as ‘Janet’. I also have never bought a phone that came with a dead battery; at first, I thought the thing wasn’t working.

I bought this phone as a gift so I’ll give an update when it’s charged up and I do the reset.

I purchased the phone only to open the box and no usb/charger ( cable or wall pkug) how can I charge the phone to use.

Definitely 5 stars all around..phics and sharp...used to have iPhone 4s...so this took me longer than usual to learn all I can on this cell phone....excellent gra
